Performance and Durability

GutterStuff^®Pro is protected throughout by a flame retardant Latex coating which provides long life and complete outdoor protection and durability. The coating enhances the foams durability by “Rubberizing” it from top to bottom and protecting it from UV and environmental degradation without impeding the filtering and flow capability of the product. The product also contains a germicide package to inhibit biological growth within the foam.

Q. What happens when it freezes?

When the temperature drops to or below the freezing point, it doesn’t have any effect because if the downspout cannot block up there is never any water in the gutter to freeze.

The gravel should pass right through and get washed down the downspout. However, as mentioned above, you may need to periodically brush off the surface to keep too much debris from accumulating.

No, only the very top surface gets a little stiff. The rest of the filter is shaded so the Sun’s ultra-violet rays cannot harm it.

Q. So, is GutterStuff^® Pro really as great as it sounds?

We don't want to mislead you into thinking that GutterStuff^® is a "miracle" solution. Despite years of effort, there is no perfect gutter screening system. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. During many years of service, your gutters get a heck of a lot of abuse. With constant exposure to tree debris, bird droppings and asphalt "pellets," it's difficult for any product to be absolutely 100% effective. That being said, we believe GutterStuff^® provides the best compromise of an open gutter system with minimal maintenance schedule, at extremely affordable pricing.

All gutters to be fitted with GutterStuff^® Pro should be thoroughly cleaned out, all leaves, debris, and roof grit should be removed and the gutters washed out, if possible.

All downspouts should be cleared of any obstruction, especially where there are elbows.

All gutters should be checked to ensure that they are properly sloped towards the downspouts.

All Spikes and hangers should be securely tightened. Hangers should be added where needed.

Insert GutterStuff^® Pro into the gutter so that its narrowest point, (the sharpest angle) is tucked under the front lip of the gutter. GutterStuff^® Pro should run to the back of the gutter completely filling the space across the top of the gutter then turn at a 90º angle to sit snugly on the bottom of the gutter.

Slide the GutterStuff^® Pro into the gutter under each spike or hanger, then, tuck the front edge of the material under the lip of the gutter.

Place the material sections into the gutter end to end making sure there are no gaps between sections.

A knife or scissors may be used to cut the material, if needed, at the end of each run. Do not stretch the material to make it fit as it will shrink back to its original form and leave gaps.

GutterStuff^® Pro, an FR (Flame Retardant) Latex Coated Polyether foam filter insert is guaranteed to prevent leaves and large debris from entering and clogging a gutter or downspout during a twenty five (25) year period from the original date of installation, when installed in a manner consistent with GutterStuff^® Pro Installation Procedures, under normal leaf and debris conditions. If a clog occurs, contact your local authorized Dealer to arrange repair, or replacement of clogged section, at Manufacturer's option.

This Warranty is transferable to the next homeowner upon sale of property, one time only. New homeowner warranty is valid up to 25 years from date of original installation on the property on which it was originally applied.

This Constitutes the sole warranty made by the manufacturer or Distributor either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall the Dealer be liable for any incidental or consequential damages and Dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.

Some states do not permit any limitation on the length of an implied warranty, and incidental or consequential damage, and some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So the above Limitations and or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which can vary from state to state.

Normal debris fall will occur through the year and may create surface accumulation on the GutterStuff^® Pro however, natural conditions such as Sun, wind, and rain, will work together to dry, blow, and wash away the debris so that GutterStuff^® Pro can remain free flowing. In sheltered roof areas or overhangs on flat roofs or shallow-pitched roofs, or where heavy debris fall occurs, debris may collect when sunlight and wind cannot dry and move away debris. We recommend clearing off the debris periodically with a water hose or blower, to ensure GutterStuff^® Pro flow capability is not obstructed.

GutterStuff^® Pro’s coating also contains a UV stabilizer to reduce the affect of sunshine on the surface of the product. Over time, exposure to the elements will cause the surface of the product to bleach out slightly. The degree to which this weathering may occur will vary depending on factors such as climate, location, air quality or local environmental conditions over which manufacturer or Dealer have no control. The weathering of the material under normal conditions will not affect the performance of the product. For optimal life and performance of the product it should remain unmolested in the gutter.

Exclusions to this warranty include, but are not limited to unreasonable use, Acts of God, floods, fires, vandalism, exposure to corrosive chemicals or pollutants, or any condition beyond the control of the Dealer or manufacturer. This Warranty covers only genuine GutterStuff^® Pro. Homeowner must verify with Dealer that the product is GutterStuff^® Pro. There are no warranties on this product other than set forth in this warranty. We are not liable for any other written or oral express warranties such as those that may be given by Dealers, Contractors, Installers, or Distributors of this product.
