Pricing

Our pricing, explained

Our crews arrive in fully stocked trucks ready to work. Whether you booked a quick check-up or there are repairs to fix, expect fair and transparent pricing throughout.

What's actually free

Two things, with no conditions attached to either.

1) Send photos, get a real answer

Take a few pictures of the problem and anything else that might be helpful. Someone who does this for a living will tell you what's likely going on and roughly what it will take to fix. No visit, no charge, and no obligation to book anything.

2) Proposals for new systems and larger projects

Irrigation installs, landscape drainage and other large projects are quoted at no charge. We walk the property, assess what's there and come back to you with a price. That stays free even when the answer turns out to be that you don't need the work.

Request an estimate

Flat fees: check-ups, diagnostics, service and repairs

If something's broken, the first step is a technician on site. It's a flat fee, the same for every property, and it covers about fifteen minutes: a skilled technician runs the system, finds and explains what's wrong, and tells you what the repair will cost.

No obligation beyond the diagnosis. Nothing gets dug up, replaced or repaired until you've heard the price and said go ahead. You're paying for a diagnosis and a decision, not a commitment to anything after it.

We'll tell you what the diagnosis costs when we schedule it. There shouldn't be any surprises on the day we arrive. There is no travel charge added on top of it.

Repairs can be done at the same time

You're only committed to the diagnosis. If you aren't ready or if the repairs are more than expected, there's no further obligation. Your technician will go through what they found with you. We'll keep our copy of the assessment so you don't need to pay for another diagnosis in the future. When you're ready, let us know and we'll be ready to put shovels in the ground.

But if everything sounds good, we'll be ready to work. Most repairs can be done while we're already there. Just give the thumbs up and we'll get it done. Repairs are billed on top of the visit — labor in half-hour increments, plus a flat rate for each repair, including parts.

The technician will discuss the work with you before starting. The diagnosis is your only commitment.

If a small job turns out to be a big one

Sometimes a broken head is a broken head. Sometimes it's a main line that's been leaking under the driveway for years. When what we find is bigger than what can be during our first visit, we stop, show you, and schedule a follow up at our next availability. No pressure, no obligation.

Why a repair visit isn't free

Most repairs can be fixed quickly, in a single visit. A free estimate on a broken sprinkler head means two trips: one to look, one to fix. That's double the drive time and double the labor. When we're efficient, everyone saves.

We'd rather charge once, come once, and leave with it working.

If you're still unsure, take a few pictures of the problem. We'll let you know what we think.

Financing

Installations and drainage projects can be financed through Wisetack, a 3rd party lending service specializing in home improvement projects. Apply directly from any quote you receive.

Questions to ask any contractor, including us

"Free estimate" means different things depending on who's saying it. Before you book anyone, ask the following.

Is the estimate free if my system isn't working?

A dead zone or a broken controller — that's a service visit, not an estimate. The underlying issues need to be diagnosed in order to give you a price. You only pay for the diagnosis. There's no obligation to commit to any work beyond that.

Is there a trip or travel charge on top?

Sometimes it's a line item. Sometimes it's folded into the repair price where you can't see it. It's rarely absent. We don't add one. The diagnosis is a single flat charge, and it covers an experienced technician running every zone and telling you what they find.

Can the repair happen on the same visit, or is that a second appointment?

Usually yes, and it's better that way. The truck arrives stocked, so most simple repairs can be handled on the same visit. Fixing it while we are there saves you a second appointment.

Will I know the repair price before anyone starts working?

The technician will conduct an initial assessment to identify any issues. They'll go over what they found and what it will cost before anything else happens. No further obligation or commitment.

Our answers

There's a flat fee for a diagnosis, the same for every property. No travel charge on top of it. Repairs can usually be done during the same visit with pricing discussed before the technician starts. Estimates for new systems and larger projects are free, even if you decide not to book the work. And if you'd rather not pay for a visit at all, send photos first — that costs nothing.
